Welcome to the website of Americairn and Joan Gardner, a breeder of quality Cairn Terriers in Southwest Missouri. I breed for temperment, health and conformation.  Breeding for the show ring can be very challenging and of course the whole litter cannot be show quality, well....sometimes, so my pet puppy buyers get great looking, happy, and healthy pets. Our Cairns do everything from earth dog, to pet therapy and everything in-between, such as obedience, rally, agility, barn hunt, scent work and  conformation.

Wow, where do I start? I just got off the phone with tech support and it has been 3 years since I have updated my website. So much has happened. First of all I am still breeding and just had a litter on December 6, 2021. 4 boys and 1 girl. The proud parents are Grand CH CH Americairn Expect a Miracle, Paisley and Grand CH CH Americairn Montclair Bathed in Moonlite, Monty. Monty has 3 champion offspring and another is pointed. 

So much has happened since I last updated. Paisley finished her Grand Championship  and did me proud in Greeley, CO at the Cairn Terrier Club of America National week. She recieved an Award of Merit, a Select, and Best of Breed Owner Handled with a group 4 in the owner handler group. This in competion with 65 other cairn champions. 

Kenzie, Paisley's mom is retired from conformation but is doing other fun stuff. She now has a barn hunt title,RATN, her CGC (Canine Good Citizen), and has qualifying ribbons in scent work. 

Hannah has finished her championship and I expect to breed her in about 6 months. We will work on her grand championship in the fall. Her half brother, Iain, is working on his championship and has one of his majors out of the way for a total of 7 points. He is a Monty son and was born during the pandemic.
